While most citizens of McSlopolis™ are very aware of the major villainous players in town, they rarely take a moment to remember the ones behind the scenes who help every major heist go off without a hitch – the henchmen.

Who’s lugging around all the equipment while the villain is monologing? Henchmen. Who’s running around making sure that guards are knocked unconscious or that alarms aren’t triggered? The lowly henchmen.
And, of course, when things go sour and the villain needs to make a quick escape, they often can thanks to the countless hours of gadget testing and skills in distraction techniques provided by the henchman on the crew.
While it may seem like some henchmen would be better off if they just became super villains themselves, most of them would crumble under the pressure. They are often simple workers, content with small pleasures and the praise they get.
A good day for an average henchman is when his boss goes home happy. If they accomplish that, they feel like they’ve also succeeded.
So remember, humble citizen, when you think of villainy in all it’s forms, don’t forget to remember the humble henchman.
He’d remember you.
